Set off for a weekend away in Abruzzo, in Cansano, west of Majella Park. Cross suggestive paths between woods of beech and fir.

Spend 2 nights in a modern and cozy woody cabin, where you practice wolf howling: an extraordinary way to discover the world behind wolves.

Expert guides are always with you during the hiking, giving you all the necessary equipment to see wolves and helping you to get in touch with them (if possible).

Wolf watching is really difficult! They always move during the night and to understand where they are, you need to hear their night howls!

• Equipment required: Hiking clothing suitable for the current season, it’s important to wear heavy clothing during the stops and technique clothing for excursions. It’s advisable to wear: wool hat and gloves, hiking boots, leggings, water bottle, sleeping bag and binoculars.

• DAY 1

  • Welcome at Campo di Giove, Cansano, Majella Park. Start your adventure-weekend with easy light and hard hikings in nature. Admire the wolves with expert guides and get in touch with them (if possible). Refuge Overnight stay.

  DAY 2

  • Leave for another guided hike dedicated to wolves watching. Nature hiking in the woods. Refuge overnight stay.

  DAY 3

  • Wildlife sighting in the park with a guide, return to Cansano, departure for return.
